EDIT - A lot of people seem to be missing the meat of my post (not that I blame them, it is probably far too long). I am NOT asking how to complete my dailys or QQ'ing that I can't do it because I only have prot and holy gear. The whole point of this is my suggestion to add in 3 new quest types which can be found in the lower half of my post. I feel the instead of healers and tanks trying to dps in order to solo, there should be content added to utilize our spec and skills. That is all.

I can't wait for Wrath, for a few reasons.

One, new dances and customizion options. I'm honestly tired of the current dances and (facial) hair options, so something new would be great. Especially that barber shop they're tlaking about, where I'll finally be able to shave off this beard I regretted putting on my guy for ages.

Two, NORTHREND! I'm a lore buff, so exploring this place is gonna be just awesome, with all it's history and what-not. Especially Azjol-Nerub, can't wait to see how the replica watchesOld Gods fit into it.

Three, siege weapons and destructible buildings. Now that just sounds really awesome. It's gonna make pvp feel a little more rts-like, which should be great, and not to mention driving around in a balista or steamtan.

Just the other day, Adam suggested that more bag space was always a good thing, but now Drysc tells us that's not exactly true-- even though 20-slotters are more common than ever, Blizzard has no plans to let us replace the normal 16-slot backpack anytime soon. And the reason he cites is interesting: it has nothing to do necessarily with ingame limits, but more to do with out-of-game limits. WoW has 10 million players, and if each one of those players has easily 10 alts average and each alt has a bunch of 20-slot bags and even more items in the bank, then pretty soon you're starting to talk real amounts of physical computer memory.

so my question is:

1) 2 mobs, simple, MT on one, OT on the other, once MT's target is dead, MT goes to OT target and build and hold threat? where OT backs off to 2nd on threat list? or does MT goes to 2nd on list on this mob?

2) on 1 mob, everything else is CC'd, what is the role of OT?
should at any point, the OT pull aggro off the MT?

With the way bosses in Sunwell are opened up it will last a lot longer than Black Temple did. It really does get old farming BT/Hyjal for the past 8 months and am starting to get bored with alts. Kaplan said we would see 2.4 on the PTR before the end of 07 and I am getting tired of the delays :p Hopefully we see 2.4 on the PTR this week or next since it will easily be on the PTR for over a month. Yeah, I'd expect Sunwell to be on the PTR for about 2 months before it goes live. Keep in mind Leviathonlx, that you are in a very small minority having "farmed" all of BT/Hyjal for several months. Hell, a good marjority of people haven't really seen most of TK/SSC as of yet. My guildreplica watches just got into BT/Hyjal a few weeks ago. The first Three bosses in each instance aren't very hard. We almost have the 4th boss in Hyjal done, but are focusing on BT for the time being. It is our hope to get BT/Hyjal done by the time Sunwell is released. Given about a 2-month time-frame to do it, I hope we can get it done.

I have a life that sounds very similar to yours, although my wife has yet to demand I stop playing wow - though this is clearly something she wants.

Like you, I lead an otherwise blameless life. I only play in the late evening after child has gone to bed, even on weekends. This makes raiding very difficult but I manage to see Kara a few times - few guilds will accept people who can't start before 9pm server time.

Wife hates WoW with a passion, but bears it because it's my only vice. She would never demand I stop it because I do not let it interfere with our life.

Ultimately it comes down to your relationship with your wife. If you believe she is a reasonable person with sound judgement, then you must have thought she was right to stop you playing Warcraft. If you stopped just because you couldn't stand her nagging anymore or you feared what she might do otherwise, then you must examine your reasons carefully.

It's a very difficult situation with no easy way out - you want to play WoW and she doesn't want you to. Only you can decide what you value more in your life.

Ask yourself this: Since you stopped playing, has she become happier and more content? If so then it's simple, Warcraft was genuinely affecting her and souring your relationship. If she still complains or is unhappy with other things you do, then she will never be content with your activities and you may as well go back to playing. Inform her that life can never be perfect and striving to make things so is a recipe for unhappiness...
