23/01/08 - Patch 2.3.3 (EU)

General
* Some players may notice improved data load times when newly entering the world and after zoning into new areas.
* Character/NPC load times have been decreased, and now should appear faster. You’re not hearing voices, there really are people in Shattrath!
Bug Fixes
* Felspine the Greater in Shadowmoon Valley will no longer evade when engaged.
* Guttripper in Nagrand will no longer evade when engaged.
* Players will now be correctly credited with their arena points if they purchase an arena item during weekly arena calculations.
* Using a castsequence macro on a target moving out of range will no longer cause it to stop working.
The question is, does this mean that info about Patch 2.4 - Sunwell et al. will be incoming this week? Only time will tell.

I hope 2.4 is a way away, don't have Illidan down yet- my guild is making solid progress in BT for such a young guild, but still needs time :)

News about 2.4 might come out more.... but I'd not expect it to be very soon, especially if the rumors are right that 2.4 is the last big patch before focus on WotLK...

with the grinding and reputation farming you have to do for sunwel, i imagine there will be plenty of time for illidan even when sunwell is out.

With the way bosses in Sunwell are opened up it will last a lot longer than Black Temple did. It really does get old farming BT/Hyjal for the past 8 months and am starting to get bored with alts. Kaplan said we would see 2.4 on the PTR before the end of 07 and I am getting tired of the delays :p Hopefully we see 2.4 on the PTR this week or next since it will easily be on the PTR for over a month.

Yeah, I'd expect Sunwell to be on the PTR for about 2 months before it goes live.
Keep in mind Leviathonlx, that you are in a very small minority having "farmed" all of BT/Hyjal for several months. Hell, a good marjority of people haven't really seen most of TK/SSC as of yet.
My guild just got into BT/Hyjal a few weeks ago. The first Three bosses in each instance aren't very hard. We almost have the 4th boss in Hyjal done, but are focusing on BT for the time being. It is our hope to get BT/Hyjal done by the time Sunwell is released. Given about a 2-month time-frame to do it, I hope we can get it done.

Well Sunwell is being released for the small minority :p But other then Sunwell I am also looking forward to seeing if Blizzard makes feral viable in arena and it will be a big deciding factor on whether I end up re-rolling after Sunwell along with other upcoming game changes.

Sunwell is not just a 25-man raid instance, fyi.
